Privacy Policy

Information used by GroovePilot

Account information includes your email address, account ID, display name and terms acceptance records. Email and password authentication is processed through Supabase.

App information includes song, setlist, band, gig and notes metadata; purchase status and purchase-token records; and AI usage records. This information supports account access, music organization, collaboration, purchase entitlements and AI-assisted features.

ProNotes and your files

In the current GroovePilot V1 app, ProNotes attachment files are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to Supabase Storage. Saved link addresses and references may be stored with your online application records. Deleting a saved link does not delete content hosted by an external service. Original documents, exported files and offline copies on your devices may remain until you remove them separately.

Services and external connections

• Supabase processes authentication, account and app data, including saved ProNotes link references; current V1 ProNotes attachment files remain on your device.
• AI-assisted song lookup uses OpenAI and may use Brave Search. Song lookup requests may be processed by these services.
• Google Play handles Android billing. GroovePilot uses purchase status and token records to manage access to paid features.
• The website is hosted on Netlify. The app uses Google Fonts, which can connect to Google's font services when fonts are loaded.
• Links you choose to open may take you to external websites or services, which handle information under their own policies.

The website launch-update signup collects the email address you submit. It is separate from app registration and uses a separate Supabase service.

Deletion, retention and copies

You can delete individual songs and setlists in the app. Removing a ProNotes reference may leave the underlying local file on your device.

GroovePilot provides an administrator account-deletion procedure for verified requests. A controlled test confirmed deletion of a test authentication account and its populated profile, songs and setlist from the active service. Other account-linked records are subject to the application’s deletion rules, but every category and scenario has not been individually tested. Administrators cannot remotely erase device-local ProNotes attachments or offline copies. Other devices, exported files and original documents may retain copies. Band links involving another owner’s data may require support.

Account deletion does not cancel a store subscription. Manage or cancel your subscription separately through the store where you purchased it.

Deletion from the active service does not guarantee immediate removal from backups, logs or records held by external providers. Retention and deletion handling can differ by record and service; no fixed backup or log retention period is stated here. For account deletion instructions and privacy requests, see Delete Account.

Privacy questions

Contact GroovePilot LLC at support@groovepilot.app for privacy or deletion requests. Identity verification is required before an external account-deletion request can be processed. Do not send passwords, payment-card details or password-reset links.
